Run in with the Law...

Funniest story ever!! LoL!

Okay, so Aaron parks the car and we head off to check out the National Mall...we have 3 hours until we have to move the car.

We finish touring the National mall and head back to the car....

mmm...is that our car?? It's hard to tell...it is a rental! Here is the conservation that followed.

Me: Is that our Car?

Aaron: Where?

Me: That one (pointing to the street)...it looks crooked...I think someone hit it!

Aaron: I don't see it?

Me: Oh my god....I think it is on the grass....they must have hit it really hard!! Good thing we got the insurance!

Aaron: Are you sure that is our car?

Me: (Looking closer)...Yup...that is the right license plate number! That is our car! Oh...I think I see a ticket!

Aaron: What the hell?

Me: (Grab the ticket) We got a $100 ticket...the cop must have pushed our car onto the grass!

Me: (Reads the ticket to Aaron)

Aaron: Oh...we had to move the car before 4:00 because of rush hour traffic! (That was past our 3 hour time limit we thought we had!)

Me: They requested a tow!! Good thing we got here before they towed it!

LoL!! Can you believe it...I have never seen a car pushed up onto the grass for a parking violation....crazyness! But BOO for the $100 fine!
