So we get there and it is a hour wait....OK...this place must be good! We are talking to the host and he says that they order a little different....we place our pizza order before we are seated because the pizza's take 1 hour to bake! Holy Moly that is a lot of baking!
We actually get seated much earlier than a hour.....we ordered an appetizer (cheese sticks and a garden salad) because we knew we would have to wait quite a while before we would get our pizza.
The pizza's come out and they look really tasty...I ordered a cheese pizza with pepperoni, olives and sausage. Aaron's pizza had cheese, pepperoni, onions, peppers and mushrooms.
Aaron and I felt the same way about the pizza...crust was way to crispy...it was like dough that was cooked too long..kind of like a bread stick or crouton type of crispiness. We will stick with our yummy BJ's pizza!
After leaving Uno's we decided we would walk to Navy Pier...
This was our last night in Chicago...the highlight of Chicago for us was definitely the Cubs game...nothing even came close to touching it! You know what was crazy? Aaron and I were talking and we both felt safer in New York than we did in Chicago...so not what I expected...at all!
Chicago was pretty cool....it was probably the prettiest city we have been to so far...the downtown area with the buildings, lights and the Chicago river made the city extremely beautiful.....it wasn't as exciting as some of the other places, but still cool nonetheless.
