Chicago

After leaving the African Lion Safari in Cambridge, Ontrario, we (and by we, I mean Aaron) had an 8 hour drive ahead of us! The drive actually wasn't that bad..I even stayed awake the whole time!...I did lay down for about 3o minutes but I didn't sleep. Anyhow, we finally got into Chicago and we were staying in the downtown Hyatt. Aaron found this hotel on priceline as well and got a killer deal!

So we get into the elevator to head up to our room (again on the highest floor...I don't know why we always get that...but I am not complaining!) and we go to hit level 34 and it won't light up. So we go as high as it will take us (31 floors up) and we take the stairs to get to 34. Later that night when we were going up the elevator again, Aaron noticed that if you are on the Regency Club Level (32-34) you have to insert your room key to have access to get off at that floor! Crazy huh? We didn't pay for this high-end stuff...priceline hooked it up! Here are some pictures of the room and hotel...

After getting settled into the room we were off walking again! We decided we would walk down Magnificent Mile....Magnificent Mile is a street that has planted tulips (my favorite) all the way down the street, art structures and lots of shopping.

We are not big shoppers, so we didn't shop, we just walked down the street and back....the tulips were beautiful and if you like shopping, this would be an awesome place to go broke!
