Heartland of America Park

Now, I lived in Omaha for 8 months before I came home for good....and I really didn't go to far from the university, bars and softball/baseball house...so I didn't really experience all of Omaha. After doing some research for this trip, I found that Omaha has a really nice park that many people visit...it has a water fountain that shoots 30ft into the air and at night the water fountain does a color show.

So after we got our ice cream, we walked over to the park and it was BEAUTIFUL! I thought is was so weird that I lived there, had been very close to the park (because it is near the old market I use to always go to) and I had never heard of it or been!

we walked throughout the park and waited for the color show...once it started I was so excited! It was gorgeous...we took pictures of all the colors the fountain displayed...
The Heartlands of America Park was a great way to end our time in Omaha....we didn't have a lot of time in Omaha (although you don't really need much time to visit Omaha) but we had a lot of fun reminiscing and seeing new things in Omaha we never knew about.
