First of all, Aaron worked just a half day so we could have more time together which is the greatest gift of all. I was so happy to come home from work and have Aaron all to myself for the rest of the night.
So, he gets home, and he asks me to go to the car with him to help him carry in the tulips he bought for my mom (how sweet!) and some other stuff he picked up. So I go out to the car with him, and he asks me to go the trunk to get some of the things, he pops it and there is a HUGE balloon! Oh yes, by the way, I pink puffy heart balloons! And guess what?? The balloon speaks!! LoL! When I touched the play button on the bottom of the balloon it had a recording from Aaron that said, "I love you so much pooky bear! Muah!" It was too cute.
Later that night, we headed out to dinner to Forbes Mill in Los Gatos. Oh my gosh, it was the best steak I have ever eaten in my whole life! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice and romantic. I can't wait to go back! Oh yea, and a couple that was sitting a table over got engaged!! Yup, it was so cute...he got down on one knee and did the whole shebang. She was shocked and it was really cute. I even got a little teary-eyed.
After dinner, Aaron had some surprise gifts for me, as if what he had already done wasn't enough! So I look into the gift bag and first I pull out a box of chocolates (yum!) and then I see a stuffed bull. It is pretty cute. It is really soft and sings a little song; it says, "I love you more than the fire of a million jalepenos. SPICY!" And finally, I see a card at the way bottom of the bag, I open it up and it is such a cute card. You could tell he really spent some time trying to find the perfect card. Oh yea, and inside the card was a gift card to my favorite salon for massages!! He gave me a gift certificate for a 1 hour professional body massage!! WOOHOO!!
After dinner, we went back home and spent some time with my family and our furbaby Harley and her buddy Tucker. It was the perfect way to end the day because family is priority #1 to both of us, and we were happy to come home to see our little baby Harley and spend time as our little family.
It really was a wonderful day. I love him more than anything in the world and I am so grateful to have him in my life. I will never forget this day and can't wait to have more and more days with him. I love just imagining growing old, all wrinkly, with short curly white hair (of course, him completely bald) sitting on our front porch swing, drinking our lemonade as we watch our great grandchildren playing in the yard. Life with him, together, is truly amazing.
