Aaron and have been thinking about moving to Brentwood for quite some time now, and yesterday we drove out there with Tony, Libby and Jennifer to check it out some more.
Every time I go out there I want to move NOW, but especially right now, it is just not in the works for us because we owe so much more on the house than we could sell it for because of the crappy market. So we are stuck.
Brentwood is BEAUTIFUL and super family friendly and oriented. I swear there is a park at every corner...and I mean really nice parks. There is a lot of shopping and in fact they are currently building what they are calling "the streets of Brentwood" which will be a lot like downtown Walnut Creek. The drive from San Jose is about 1 hour with no traffic which is doable for us....it is a little farther from family than I would like but we can afford a home out there....a VERY, VERY nice home. I can't wait until we can break even on our townhome and get a house out there....I just hope that by the time we break even the prices for homes in Brentwood don't shoot to high! The homes that we looked at ranged from 300K to 450K.
Here are some pictures...

One of the homes living rooms

Jennifer loving Brentwood!...Libby and Tony said she was smiling because of the fans but I think it is because she liked Brentwood...Yup! In fact, when we were in one of the homes, we walked into one of the bedrooms that was baseball themed and on the bed was a baseball....Aaron had to grab it by chance and on the baseball it read, "Jennifer". Omen? I think so!

One of the Kitchens of the many homes we viewed

Libby and Aaron playing in a GINORMOUS closet underneat the stairwell!

Aaron and I being ourselves in Brentwood! God, we love it out there!

Libby loving Brentwood even though she
wanted to hate it!

A kitchen table....I took a picture of this because I just loved the design work on this table....Beautiful...I basically love all things green!

The nursery in one of the homes...it is a much larger room but I couldn't get a full picture because of the wall.....these homes have enough rooms for each of our children (when we have them) can have their own rooms. Most of the homes we looked at had 4 or 5 bedrooms.
Speaking of babies....here are a few pictures of the cutest one I know!
