Restoring my Mustang

I have a 67 convertible mustang and since having my pilot it doesn't get driven as often as it should and has been sitting which is VERY bad for the car....I am totally bummed about it. Since it has been sitting it needs a few things replaced because of the sun/water damage.

So I bought new parts today and have an appt to put on some of the gear on Monday!! It is going to be cherry again!! I can't wait! And I am also going to buy a special car cover for it so that even if it sits, it will be protected....but I plan to drive it at least every 2 weeks to keep the engine from having problems.

If you haven't seen it before, here is my car:
And here are the new parts I bought for it...

1. A new convertible top! (this was a huge buy and I am so excited about it!!)
2. A window regulator for the passenger side window....it is nothing that you will see but is a VERY much needed part right now, as I can't keep the window up without using a bungee cord...this part will keep the window up! My dad says it is a pain in the ass to install...but at least I don't have to pay labor fees! LoL! Thanks dad! ;)
3. New carpets for the interior (mine are majorly sun and water damaged)
4. New door panels for the interior...because of the broken window regulator and using the bungee cord to hold it up (by putting it underneath the door panel...the door panel is lifted and broken, so it needed to be replaced.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO stoked about this!!
