Life in Luxury

Today is the first day off for spring break and I must say, I am loving it!! I needed a break from work something fierce and I am going to take this week to live the luxurious life (well, as luxurious as we can afford!).

Today, I cashed in on the massage gift certificate that Aaron gave me for Valentines day and Oh My HEAVENLY massage! It was wonderful! I enjoyed a 60 minute sweedish massage with hot stone therapy. Stone therapy at the spa is described as " a luxurious and relaxing massage through heat therapy. Smooth Basalt lava stones are heated and incorporated into the massage. The heat from the stones help penetrate deeper into the muscle tissues to relax and soothe the muscles." This massage was incredibly relaxing and she was able to work on quite a few knots and tight muscles I have had.

If anyone is interested in massage therapy, I would definitely recommend La Concha Day Spa in Willow Glen!!

On with the luxurious week....Tomorrow, I plan to go to the dentist!! I know, I know, it doesn't sound to luxurious, does it? Well, I actually have always loved going to the dentist and leaving with my teeth feeling so clean! And, Unfortunately, I haven't had dental insurance in quite some time (something like 2 or 3 years!), so this is a much needed check-up and cleaning! So though it may not seem luxurious to some, I am very much looking forward to it!

Next on the list of luxury? Wednesday, I am going to my FABULOUS hair stylist, Cat Hansen, and getting my hair cut, shampooed and styled! I usually get my hair highlighted as well, but the sun has been doing a fabulous job of that lately, so I will save a few bucks and look like a million!

As of now, that is all I have planned for the "life in luxury" week, but I will be sure to really take care of myself this week and take full advantage of this wonderful time off!
