Chef Aaron

Life has been truly wonderful since Aaron has left his old job....we get to spend so much more time together, we get to have dinner together, he is much less stressed and generally more happy and excited about work and life.

Without all the stress and consumption of his time, Aaron has been able to do so many things that he wouldn't have been able to do before, like cook dinner, get all his homework done before 10pm, midweek archery, mountain biking and other outdoor activities and it has made him very happy. He is able to put more time into himself, his school work and our marriage. It has been wonderful! Today, he cleaned the entire guest bedroom, went to the grocery store, cooked an AMAZING dinner (Teriyaki and Garlic BBQ Steak, Veggie Stir Fry, and Brown Rice) and made us dessert! Oh, and yesterday he cooked spinach and cheese tortellini and salad! He is a fantastic cook and you know what? HE LOVES TO DO IT!! And I find it incredibly romantic!

This job loss was really scary at first, but we always did kind of look at it like a blessing in disguise and that is truly what it was. God knew that Aaron's old job was not the right path for him, us or our future and led him a new/different and exciting direction. We are incredibly blessed with an amazing family, wonderful friends (and that includes new ones that we are so grateful to have made), jobs we love and much more. We are extremely grateful.
