Chronicles of the Cone: The NEXT generation!

Libby took Jennifer to a indoor play structure the other day and Jennifer went over to some new cones.....all by herself. She is ready to start "Chronicles of the Cone: The Next Generation!"

I see trouble in our future!!

Impromptu get together!

On Sunday Tony, Libby, Jennifer and Daisy came over to my parents house to play some ping pong (Libby was challenging Aaron!) and hang out....It was a great time!
Tucker found a new great friend in Daisy....Tucker followed her EVERYWHERE!
Tucker says stop picking on me Auntie Heather!
New Friends!
Daisy cooling off....her face is laying in the bowl!! She was also putting her feet in to cool off...it was cute!
Jennifer checking out the water fountain and cooling off herself!
This girl just loves being outside!
Silly Girl!
I swear....she is the happiest baby EVER!

After dinner (we ate in the backyard) people were getting up, clearing the table and just cleaning up and I stayed outside with Libby and all I see is her BUSTING up in laughter...I am like what the hell are you laughing about?? What is so funny?? What happened??? I go inside and see this....
The BIGGEST cone I have ever seen!! It was GINORMOUS! This is not the original cone, but a cone that Tony and Libby found across the street from our complex and they yanked it....and of course...returned it! Well...returned it pretty close to were they got it....it was too hot for Libby to take it all the way over to the other side of the street...LoL! She said I am sure they will figure it out and get it....that is what we thought about the orignial cone and now that one is an international traveler!

After the cone fun we decided to have some more fun with the fire cracker cupcakes!! Tony and Libby brought some over!! And this time my mom and dad tried some!
LoL!! He was like, I can hear it in my head!
Mom eating her cupcake....hers was popping like crazy!!
Tucker wanted some too!!...and this is why he is on a doggy diet! LoL!
And again...Tucker says, stop picking on me Auntie Heather!

Soldier Field

After getting out of the Field Museum, we went over to Soldier Field (were the Chicago Bears play....GO BEARS!) to snap some pictures. The stadium was amazing...by far the coolest stadium I have ever seen.
Us and the Cone in front of Soldier Field!...The Cone is a Bears fan..GO BEARS!!!
The cone wearing an Urlacher jersey!...Da Bears!

You see....our cone...is a world class traveler!!

Chronicles Continue...Global Edition

After coming back to the hotel from the CN tower in Toronto, I noticed that we had a message..I called and listened to a voice mail and the message also said we had a message waiting for us downstairs. Aaron calls downstairs to verify and they told us we had a package. A package? Who is going to send us a package in Canada?

Aaron goes downstairs, grabs the package, brings it back up....we see the shipping label and it says San Jose Blue Prints...so we know it is from Tony and Libby...we are thinking...NO FREAKING WAY!! We open the box..and sure enough...it is the cone!! Our cone is an international traveler!

I am AMAZED with this move!! Well played!! I never expected the cone to be in Canada! We are currently planning our next move...it may take a while...cuz this will be very tough to top...but we will do it!

The Cone Monster and Beer Cone

Last night was the night to strike back!! Aaron and I have been planning our revenge for about a week now and it was finally time to make it happen!!

Our first step was constructing a monster cone! We took the cone, disinfected it, and then got creative!! We flipped the cone on its side so that we could see the hole on the bottom and start applying paper teeth around the edge. We then grabbed a couple of old paint rollers from our bathroom remodel and hot glued them to the cone. After that, we took some red beer cups and hot glued them to the tops of the rollers and drew black dots in the center to make eyes! Did I mention that we did all this while drinking some nasty ass beer and getting faded? Here is the monster cone they saw when they opened the door!

The other plan was already in progress while we were building our monster cone. Our plan was to drink beer and use the empty cans to make a beer cone! So last night we got sauced and spawned a baby brother beer cone for the original orange cone! Here are some pictures of us while we were working...basically pictures of us hammered.

Basically, it was awesome and I think Tony and Libby should surrender! =)

Oh yes, and today when we got back home from dropping Harley off at my parents house, there was a picture on our door. We got out of the car, looked at the picture and this is what we saw....

Disney Cones

A small sampling cones....

Oh my lanta...there was a plethora of cones in the Mickey and Friends Parking structure....ideas were brewing in our heads! Libby and Tony could have had a cone fort on their front porch with the amount of cones we saw!! But, we decided, it would be wrong to steal from Mickey; he needs those cones! But don't worry, we still have some bitchin ideas!

They Strike Back

Yesterday, I got home a little early so I could get started on removing the grout on the master bath and when I got home I was surprised with a nicely newspaper wrapped cone in a cute purple gift bag with a card attached! Tony and Libby have struck back! I call Aaron and say, "It's baaaaackkkkk!!" and I explain to him what I have found. We both agreed, game on!! LoL! So I text Libby, I haven't opened the card yet, but Aaron and I both say, Game on! It's on like Donkey Kong! and she replies back with, well, thats the last time we get you guys a nice present! LoL! She is so freaking funny!

So when Aaron gets home, we open the card and it reads...."the joy you bring to others is the joy that comes back to you" and inside there was nice little note from Tony and Libby and well of course, Jennifer and Daisy too!

And then we start going over some ideas we have for revenge! (vendetta, vendetta!! <---Thats a Simpson's reference if you didn't know!) Now, I won't post those ideas here just in case she reads this, but we have some pretty good ones!!

Here is a picture of the lovely gift I came home too!

It's on Like Donkey Kong

The battle of the cone continues!!

So, yesterday, when I was writing my blog about the mystery cone and Aaron's failed attempt to get back at Libby and Tony, Aaron caught a glance at my writing and thought he would do something about it! He leaves without saying a word. He comes back inside, and I ask him, "what did you do with the cone?" He replies with, "what cone?" with a HUGE smile on his face! So I ask him seriously what he did with it and he says I will have to go look and see, but before I do that, he warns me to be very quiet as not to ruin the prank. So I peek outside, thinking it would be on their front step, and no, it wasn't there! I look farther out and guess what I see?? The cone on top of Libby's car!! LoL!

I go back inside laughing and tell Aaron that I have to get a picture. I run upstairs, grab the camera, run back downstairs and outside and snap a photo! It was all very stealthy...although, Aaron said he needs to teach me more of his ninja ways. LoL! As we head back upstairs, I am thinking, how is she going to get that off her car!?! She is too short! LoL! I guess Tony will have to help her with that one!

Fast forward to this morning...Aaron and I get up and get ready for day 2 of the bathroom remodel and we head out the door to make a stop at home depot for some more supplies. I am fully expecting to find the cone somewhere on our step on on the car or some other crazy place. Nope. It is behind Tony and Libby's bush by their front step. Now I am thinking, I am wondering where that will end up next! Then out of nowhere, with Libby's super ninja ways, she pulls open the blinds, and opens the window and yells out, "well played Avrech family, well played!" Yup...so game on!!

Here is a picture of the cone on top of Libby's car. Oh yes, P.S.~ Tony did have to take the cone off her car because she couldn't reach it!!

The Mystery Cone

Last night, Aaron and I came home to the cone pictured above on our front porch. We were the only ones in the neighborhood with a cone. We were both like, what the hell? Where did this come from? Oh crap, I hope our water heater didn't take a crap (A bunch of homes in our area have had their water heaters crap out and even leak pretty badly)! And back to what the hell?

So I pick up the cone, thinking maybe someone put a letter underneath or something? Nope. Nothing. Whatever...so we grab the cone and set it aside and go in the house. I just couldn't get past the idea of the cone being there. I told Aaron, I am going to go over to Libby's to see if she knows why it was there. He comes as well. I knock and Tony answered the door, and I ask Tony if he knows where the cone is from, and I hear Libby laughing and she says, come in Heather. So we go inside and she was laughing. She goes, [I was gonna text you and let you know that some tree trimming people came and they had cones on all the porches of the houses, and well, I guess they forgot to take the one of your guys porch, but I thought it would be funnier if I left it there leaving you wondering why the hell it was there.] Well, she was right, we were wondering why the hell it was there! But at least we now had our answer...and Libby got a great laugh out of it. And well, so did we. Now that the mystery is solved, we go back home.

Fast forward to this morning. Aaron and I get up to get ready to remodel our master bathroom, and we open the door to go outside and the damn cone is back on our front door step! Aaron says, how the hell did that end up here! I asked, "are you sure we moved it" and he is 100% sure he moved it off the step. So, yup, he grabs the cone and head over to Libby's house (thinking she put it there as a good prank) and just as he is about to leave the cone on her front step, to get her back, she opens the door and yells, "BOO!" It was HILARIOUS!! We all busted out in laughter and Aaron sadly walked the cone back over to our house.

So the cone is no longer a mystery, yet still remains near our front step. (Well that is until Aaron can be more sneaky!)
